So my faith is the most important part of my life. I read scripture daily, pray daily, and worship almost daily. I’m also in school for a Bachelor’s of Divinity. I also love to share my testimony with people. My goal is to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. God bless and stay tuned.
So I’ve started posting my reels to TikTok as well as Facebook and Instagram (check them out if you want some more Bible knowledge). However, tikity Tok often takes me down rabbit trail after rabbit trail that is pointless and makes me feel like my IQ is 10 points lower after scrolling through it. Not to mention the plethora of egirls that pop up on my feed (I’m going to see if I can change my interests today on there). I just don’t see a whole lot of purpose to TikTok in the US except for sex workers to flaunt their bodies. The amount of misinformation that gets dumped on there is ridiculous too. However, I am doing what I can to make the platform redeemable by uploading good, solid, biblical information on there. Information that is backed by a certificate and will be backed by a bachelor’s degree someday in the not too distant future. God bless and stay tuned!
So this is going back a ways. My first crush was when I was young. I was too shy to talk with her. I wish I just thought girls had cuties at that time. But something in me still liked girls in grade school. Early grade school to be exact. I mean, she’s still a beautiful woman to this day. I don’t really spend much time thinking about her now like I did back then. Crushes come and crushes go. I don’t really want to give descriptives of her other than that she’s blonde. I don’t feel comfortable talking about someone online without their consent. But yeah, her name starts with a B. God bless and stay tuned!
So there’s a few countries I’d like to visit. I already visited Israel so I can scratch that off the list. Besides that I want to visit Italy, South Korea, Japan, England, Scotland, Canada (which if I like it when I’m there I’ll probably move there), and maybe Australia. God bless and stay tuned!
To be honest, I don’t see myself as a super fantastic person. I see things that I seem to do well, based upon the words of others. I see things that I am that are good that others have told me. However, if I were to view myself on my own without the insights of others I would take a very low view of myself. Self-esteem doesn’t seem to be doing much to improve the world around us. In fact, a pastor I used to follow said one of the solutions to humanity’s issues with sin is no-esteem. We need to be so humble we don’t view ourselves as good. We view ourselves in light of scripture. That means we are sinners in need of God’s grace. Those of us who have accepted Christ have had our chains set free and are now capable of doing what God wants. This is because we are capable of doing things in faith, without which everything that is done is sinful. This is true even if the action is itself a good action. If any action, no matter how biblical the action, is done without a heart that desires to please God is itself wrong and sin. God bless and stay tuned!
So the title might sound extreme, but I believe in living in your calling until God calls you home. That being said, I want to learn from the example of people like Charles Stanley and preach until I pass from this life into the next. Obviously I may not have that option depending on how I die someday, but even if I’m bed bound I want to still preach the gospel to all those who will receive it.
What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?
Well I use my bed daily. It’s not very old cause I just got a new bed and new phone, really the only two things that I use daily. That being said, my bed is like a month older than my phone. I’m OK with that. My bed is a nice bed. Harder than I usually go for, but it’s foam so it works out. God bless and stay tuned! Also, if you ever have any Biblical questions you want answered feel free to message me on Facebook or Instagram and I will try to answer them on a separate blog post dedicated to that question
I was feeling a little irritable on the bus ride to work today, and I didn’t self sabotage myself by saying to myself something like, “I have a disability, I can’t do this”. Instead I got off the bus and went to work! Gotta take them small wins where you can get them! Stay tuned and God bless!
The first thing I am passionate about is God and His Holy Word, the Holy Bible. I love to spend time with God in His presence and in His Word. I am in school for a Bachelor’s of Divinity, actually. I am also passionate about family and friends. I love to spend time with both, even when they prove challenging. I am also very passionate about self-improvement. This is manifest in counseling, Biblical study and application, reading self-help books by both churchy people and mental health professionals, and finally meditating on and applying the advice of family and friends. These are just some of the things I am passionate about. God bless and stay tuned!
So this may sound goofy but a lot of people can’t afford shoes, let alone how many pairs I have. I am extremely thankful for this blessing from God. Crocs, TOMS, Adidas, I got them all. I prefer Adidas and TOMS, though. So comfy. Plus a portion of the proceeds from TOMS goes towards charity. Right now I believe they are going towards grass roots mental health treatment. Helping other people when helping yourself is something I prefer to do. If I can bless others with a blessing from God, I will. God bless and stay tuned!
