If you were forced to wear one outfit over and over again, what would it be?
I would wear black skinny jeans and a black T-shirt with black socks everyday. In fact I did this earlier this year after Wednesday came out on Netflix. I just love the color black.
How important is spirituality in your life?
So my faith is the most important part of my life. I read scripture daily, pray daily, and worship almost daily. I’m also in school for a Bachelor’s of Divinity. I also love to share my testimony with people. My goal is to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. God bless and stay tuned.
How do you waste the most time every day?
So I’ve started posting my reels to TikTok as well as Facebook and Instagram (check them out if you want some more Bible knowledge). However, tikity Tok often takes me down rabbit trail after rabbit trail that is pointless and makes me feel like my IQ is 10 points lower after scrolling through it. Not to mention the plethora of egirls that pop up on my feed (I’m going to see if I can change my interests today on there). I just don’t see a whole lot of purpose to TikTok in the US except for sex workers to flaunt their bodies. The amount of misinformation that gets dumped on there is ridiculous too. However, I am doing what I can to make the platform redeemable by uploading good, solid, biblical information on there. Information that is backed by a certificate and will be backed by a bachelor’s degree someday in the not too distant future. God bless and stay tuned!
What notable things happened today?
I was feeling a little irritable on the bus ride to work today, and I didn’t self sabotage myself by saying to myself something like, “I have a disability, I can’t do this”. Instead I got off the bus and went to work! Gotta take them small wins where you can get them! Stay tuned and God bless!
What are you passionate about?
The first thing I am passionate about is God and His Holy Word, the Holy Bible. I love to spend time with God in His presence and in His Word. I am in school for a Bachelor’s of Divinity, actually. I am also passionate about family and friends. I love to spend time with both, even when they prove challenging. I am also very passionate about self-improvement. This is manifest in counseling, Biblical study and application, reading self-help books by both churchy people and mental health professionals, and finally meditating on and applying the advice of family and friends. Who do you spend the most time with?
Unless you count the always present God who is always with me even when I’m not actively pursuing doing things for, with, or whatever, it’s my coworkers. I have a wide variety of coworkers of different ages. Some are on the up and up, some are not on, what a person who grew up in the church would consider, the up and up. That being said, there is a variety of backgrounds and a variety of personalities. I enjoy working with all of them as they all have something to teach me in some way. I also enjoy the personality of most of them as well. God bless and stay tuned!
How do you love the unlovable? How do you show love to murderers, rapists, and pedophiles? I personally wouldn’t want to be around any of them for any extended period of time. But at the same time we are called to love everyone. First of all, proper boundaries are needed. That means you need to know the details of the offense, not just what they tell you. Actual court documents. Also would need a letter from a licensed counselor or psychiatrist saying this person is not a threat. There are facilities that do risk assessments such as SRT as part of Torrance State Hospital where juvenile sex offenders are housed if they have overlapping mental health issues and are court ordered there for rehabilitation. It is a very complex issue. One that if you are ever in the situation of, talking to your pastor or counselor as to how to best handle it is definitely beneficial. Recent documentation is always helpful as well. While older documentation should not be ruled out, it must not be the only documentation used as there are people who have delusions that they have done heinous acts that they never have before. Also, if you ever suspect a crime make certain you report it to your local police department immediately. Do not surround yourself with those who are actively breaking the law. This is simply a question I ask myself occasionally and am seeking an answer for myself
If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?
So, if I had to change my name it would be my favorite character’s name I would choose. That name is Solas. Solas is an ancient elven mage who freed slaves and fought against false gods in the Dragon Age universe. He is super powerful and is driven by his convictions of setting his people free from tyranny. He is also incredibly intelligent and passionate. Stay tuned and God bless!
Describe your dream chocolate bar.
My dream chocolate bar was a chocolate bar that points out the inconsistencies of the transgender movement with a version without nuts and a version with nuts that also tastes really good. Jeremy’s chocolates are those chocolates. I actually will be posting a review of them at some point on my Facebook and Instagram. But for now, I’ll say they are phenomenal chocolate both for their conservative, traditional, values and their taste. Go check them out if you want to support a conservative chocolate brand! What quality do you value most in a friend?
My core values I value most in friends. But the one that stands out most is compassion. If you’re not compassionate there’s no way we could sustain a friendship. This doesn’t mean we need to agree on what to be compassionate about every time, but if you’re an abrasive jerk I’m not going to be drawn to you.
